ASHBURTON.
Yesterday was looked upon as a holiday by most people in Aehburton, most of the Bhops and business bouses closing after twelve o'clock. Any amount of goodhumoured chaff was indulged in by the supporters of the different candidates. Although all fair means wer« taken to secure votes, pood order and kindly feeling were the order of the day. Results : —
