EFFECT OF DRINK.
An Irish doctor recently reproved a friend for his too liberal use of brandy. "Bahl" said the latter. "I've drunk of it since I was a boy, and I'm sixty." " Very likely," replied tho doctor ; " but if you had never drunk of it, perhaps you would now be seventy."
