Dr Koch is indignant at certain medical men extorting money from consumptive patients on pretence of possessing his secret. Dr Koch has deferred the lecture he had arranged to give on his discovery. The German Government ■will shortly undertake the preparation and distribution of lymph. LONDON, Nov. 27. Dr Watson, clinical lecturer at King's College, innoculated four patients -with a fluid product of bacillus. A dose of one cubic centimetre was injected in the back. The affinity of the fluid to the diseased tissue is similar to to that of the loadstone to the needle. It occasions fever, vomiting and coma, followed by burning, swelling, and sloughing of the affected parts. The College of Veterinaiy Surgeons, and the faculty of the Hospital for Diseases of the Skin, are investigating the process.
