Lean, Esqs.) i' Maintenancb. — Henry Clarkson was , summoned to show cause why he should i not be ordered to contribute towards the ' support of Mary Clarkson, his mother. 1 Complainant said she was fifty-four years i old, could earn 6s a week by washing, and , required another 6s a week to live on. She had four sons living. Defendant said he earned <£1 a week when in work. One of his brothers lived at Sakaia, and the other two in the North Island. He was willing to contribute if ' the others did. The Court made an order ' for 5s a week against the defendant, and : suggested that he should write to the other sons asking their assistance. j Civil Cases. — E. Beattie v. T.
