WELLINGTON, April 19.
Owing to the action of the general meeting of members of the Wellington Bowing Club in reinstating a member whom the Committee had expelled, the following office-bearers to-day handed in their resignations : — Captain (A. G. Johnston), Secretary (H. Hyams), Treasurer (J. B. Speed), J. Eose, W. Hearn, T. Sullivan (members of Committee). Eose is also a Trustee. The Deputy-Captain and three Committeemen intend to stand by the action taken by the general body of the Club. The matter is creating a large amount of interest in local aquatic circles.
