WELLINGTON, April 21
The Phoenix Cricket Club have won the championship for the season just closed, having defeated the Wellington Club in the final heat by one innings and 60 runs. The Phcenix have won every Cup match in which they were engaged, and for four innings and five wickets have aggregated 005 runs, or an average of a little over 20 runs por wicket.
