There . |! have been repeated conflicts between i the rioters and the military who were t called out to restore order, during which many of the strikers were killed ; and wounded. CHICAGO, Aphil 18. The building trade in this city is ; practically at a standstill, owing to the strike of tbe carpenters. The strike has spread to Indianapolis, where a large number of carpenters have gone out.
