WHARF LABOURERS' UNION.
[Per Press Association.] AUCKLAND, April 17. The delegates from the New Zealand "Wharf Labourers' Conference were entertained at dinner last night by the Executive of the Auckland branch of the Union. Messrs Brown and Creagh replied to the toaßtof "The Health of the Delegates," and urged that the strength of the Union should be used only in a peaceful manner. A wrong done to any branch of the Union should be considered as a wrong to the whole organisation, but they hoped that in future, as in the past, employers and employees would work amicably. The delegates were passengers by the Manapouri for the South.
