[Pub Pbiss Association.] | NEW PLYMOUTH, Apbil 18. In the case of Philpotts, who wai charged with stealing a watch, the Jury could not agree, and they were ordered to stand aside during the day. The man will be tried by a new Jury on Monday. The case oE a Maori, named Tutangi, charged with sheep stealing, is now being heard. DUNEDIN, Aprib. 18. The Supreme Court is occupied with the case of the Official Assignee of Christchurch, in Marr'a estate v. George Cfoick, Port Chalmers, The action is to have the sale of theOtara Dairy Factory, at Toetoes, from Marr, the defendant, declared void, on the ground that it was made within a few months of bankruptcy. The case will last som& dayp.
