The discovery, says the City Leader is an important one, and tests that have been made have been so far satisfactory that • a syndicate of capitalists, representing 15,000,000d015, has been formed to operate the new. process at Indianapolis. When it is remembered that-open hearth steel fetches something like sdoia a ton more than Bessemer, it will be peen that the process is a valuable one. Fifty thousand Bank of England notes are, on the average, made daily.
