Eaelt Closing. — The Canterbury ' Grocers' Association, at its annual meeting ■ yesterday, decided to close members' places of business at 6 p.m. on all days of the week, including Saturday, from May 1. The Association has eighty-seven members, including grocers and storekeepers from Christchurch and suburbs, Rangiora, Kaiapoi, Lyttelton 4 A.k.ajoaj R.akaia and * Ashburton. .
