A deputation of flaxmillers from the Manawatu and Bangitikei districts waited ; on Sir Harry Atkinson to-day, with refer--1 ence to the flaxmiliing industry. He | promised to give favourable, consideration , to the subject, and said he would advice Parliament next session to place .£IO,OOO on the Estimates as a bonus to the inventor of anyimprovedprocesß for the manufacture . of the fibre.
