Tennis.— Owing to the prevalence of influenza the tennis tournament, Hapley Park v. Merivale, arranged to be played on. Saturday next, will be postponed. Ashley School Committee. — The monthly meeting took place last week. Circulars were received from several candidates for the vacancy on the Board. The Committee decided to vote for Mr E. E. Good. The master's report showed that the attendance had been very poor for the past quarter in comparison to the number on the roll. It was resolved that some necessary repairs be atteflded to, and" that the annual school treat take place oa. Friday, ApriUS.
