OBITURARY.

AUCKLAND, Feb. 11. An old Colonist, Mr Joseph May, diec yesterday of paralysis at the age of seventy-live. The deceaaed had been a member of the Provincial Council, and was latterly one of the most extensive farmer* and' breeders of stock in this district. BANK OP NEW ZEALAND. By the KiDgarooma, which arrived tonight, Mr D.S. Hesn, who has been sent to this Colony to report on the affairs oi the Bank of New Zealand, wbb a passengei to- Auckland. Mr Hean is greatly improved in health.
