MAIL NOTICES.
Mails close for the following places as under, subject to the necessary alterations:— Friday, Nov. 29. For the United Kingdom, Continents of Europe and America, and We3t Indies (via San Francisco), Sandwich Islands, Cape of Good Hope, &c, &c, and also for Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Tnbipuna, as follows : — Ordinary letters, at 7.45 p.m. ; late fee letters, 8 p.m. ; books and newspapers, 7.30 p.m.; registered letters, 5 p.m.; money orders 4 p.m.; guard's van, 9.5 p.m. train. This mail will be due in London on Jan. 6, 1890. Saturday, Nov. 30. For Akaroa and Dunedin, per Roforna, at 11.10 a.m.; late fee letters, 11.20 a.m. guard's van, 12.10 p.m. train. For Northern Porte, per Penguin, at 7.45 p.m.; late fee letters, 8 p.m.; guard's van, 9.5 p.m. train. Monday, Dec. 2. For Nelson, Taranaki and Manukau, per Mahiuapua, at 12.30 p.m. ; late fee letters, ]2.45 p.m. ; guard's van, 1.25 p.m. train. For Northern Ports, per Wanaka, at at 3 p.m. ; lato fee letters, 3.15 p.m. ; guard's van, 4 p.m. train.
