[Pan Pbess Association.] WELLINGTON, Nov. 20. On. Monday a man named Stephen Spalding, about whose case there was considerable discussion during the last session of Parliament, escaped from the Porirua Lunatic Asylum, where he has been confined for the past four months. His capture is not yet effected. He ib supposed to be making in the direction of Auckland where he resided previous to his committal. There is fine weather for the second day of the Show. A holiday is being observed in town, and the attendance on the ground \ is estimated at neaily 5000. • .^.Delegates
