The Exhibition.

[Per Peess Association.] DUNEDIN, Nov. IS. An aviary has been arranged as at adjunct to the Natural History Court ai the Exhibition. Kiwis will be promineni among other New Zealand live birds. Captain Espinasse has been entrusted by the Commissioners with the entire control and supervision of the turnstiles, entrances, and exits throughout the E* hibition. Exhibits are coming forward fart, and many of the bays are already bo fax complete as to enable the more bulky ol the articles to bo put in their resting places. The offioial catalogue, of which Mr D. H. Hastings is the editor, is well advanced, and will be ready by the opening day. It will be a book of 600 pages. In addition to a formal introduction, the book will contain short historical notices o£ all the Provinces, a statistical summary showing the progress of, the Colony from 1840 to the end of 1889, and the full list of officers arid Committeemen. Professor Parker contributes the introduction to the Natural History section i Mr G. M.
