Tne speaker gare an exposition of the work done by the Government in the way of retrenchment and stable ficcnomy, ;xod iv promoting the taettlenient of the land, especially in Email areas. The speech, was welt received by the audience, and at its close a vote of thanks end conflctecca in MrHblop wascarried unanimously.
