HODGSON'S CASE.
DUNEDIN, Jan. 18. At the City Court Hodgson was acquitted by Mr Carew, on the ground that as the prosecutrix was of aqueationnble character, the probabilities were in favour of ac-cusecre-etatement, that the charge was a trumped-up one through jealousy. The accused produced high testimonials he received while in Government service.
