RESOLUTION OF THE SECONDARY '' SCHOOLS CONFEBENCE. The Secondary Schools Conference this .s, morning passed a resolution expreßßin»v^ unqualified dissent from the princiMr 1^ affirmed by. the Board of Govern<ars?i<3 Christ's College in their resolution in connectaon with the removol of Mr Corfe from *. the head-mastership, viz., that fourteen oi fifteen yearwwere long enough for the bea* qualified man to hold such an appointment. . . Queen's Cadets.— Mr John Ollivier had obtained anadditional .£4O worth of prizes for the Queen's Cadets' art union, mating ' the total value of the prizes to be offered about jB3OO. They are to be displayed in Messrs Mflner and Thompson's window. The date of the drawing will be fixed 1 early next week. The parades in connection with the Cadets are to recommence on' -'• Tuesday evening next, when Nos. 1 and 3 ' Companies will assemble for instruction.
