MELBOURNE WOOL SALE.
Messrs-Dalgety and Co. report as follows:— MELBOTTBNE, Oct. 29. , We held ourihizd wool sale to-day before numerous buyers, and offered thirteen hundred bales, of which twelve hundred were sold. Competition was very animated, especially for good greasy merino, light condition, and good sound bulky pieces. We offered no superior wools, but good light merino sold up to 9£d, average 7d to B|d; inferior, s£d to 64dj greasy merino pieces
