MOBE MINERS OUT. {Spkoial to Pbbss Association.] X.OHBOIT, Oct. 20. The coal owners in Yorkshire and Derbyshire resist the demands of the miners for an advance of wages. The "Welsh collieries have conceded an advance of 10 per cent to the men. Oct. 21. The Lancashire miners having refused to arbitrate, the owners have to their demands. BYDNtIZ, Oct. 99. The miners at West Eorwood Colliery 3iavß struck for an increase of wages to 14s per day. [Bnrwood is practically a suburb of Newcastle, ita population being about lsoo. The coalpit is the property of the A.A. and [Newcastle Coalmining Company. The annual output is between 70,000 and : 80,000 tonsj .
