LARNACH V. NEW ZEALAND HERALD.
HYDRAULIC MACHINERY. WELLINGTON, Skpt. 22. It has been arranged that the libel action, Larnach v. New Zealand Herald, shall be heard in Wellington. The hydraulic machinery for working
the wharves is now being placed in. position. There will be four 35cwt cranes, and one 10-ton one on Queen's Wharf j a 35-ton crane on the reslaimed land, and a new wool press on the railway wharf. The pipes for conducting water, and the accumulator tower are all ready. CHABGE OF THEFT. INVERCAEGILL, Sept. 22. Timothy Began, a farmer, has been arrested on a charge of stealing goods from the Centre Bush railway siding.
