IMPRISONMENT OF MR O'KELLY.
LONDON, August 11. Mr James J. O'Kelly, member for Roscommon North, -who was arrested on a oharge of inciting witnesses to refuse to give evidence under the Orimes Aot, has been sentenced to fonr months' imprisonment. Counsel for the defendant gave notice of appeal. TJNVEILINa A STATUE. At Chatham to-day, Earl Northbrook unveiled the statue erected in memory of lieutenant Haghorns. IMPEBIAL FEDERATION OPPOSED. The Frenoh Canadians are all strongly opposing Imperial Federation. ZOLA'S BOOKS. M. Vizetelly, of the firm of Vizetelly and Co., publishers, has been committed for trial for publishing indecent books, of which Emile Zola -was the author. RELEASED CAPTIVES. CONSTANTINOPLE, August 11. The Montenegrin brigands have released the captives recently taken at Beilova. The Austrian Government brought pressure to bear on Prince Nicholas, of Montenegro, -who despatched an armed force against the outlaws.
