Sapreme Court Injunction. It was rumoured in town to-day that an endeavour is to be made to obtain an injunction of the Supreme Conrt restraining the City Council from taking the poll of the ratepayers on the proposal to raise a loan for new gasworks, on the grounds set forth in Captain Garsia's protest against the recent pnblic meeting, that the proceedings of the Council are contrary to Clause 369 of the Municipal Corporations .Act. . -
