This afternoon, a meeting o£ Kew Zealand Exhibition Commissioners and others -waa held to consider the adverse criticism by tl>o Nw Zealand Herald's special correspondent on the mineral exhibits, vhich appeared in the ___r<7i_s this morning, i;i a cable message received from Kew Zealand. Seventy rrontlsiccti -were present, Mr liouisaon, Mayor oE Christchurch, in the chair. Government telegraphed to Sir James Hector as to the report condemning the exhibits in the New Zealand Court at the Melbourne Exhibiton, and received the following reply .* — " Report emanated from a speculator here (Melbourne). Minerals nob yet fully displayed. Will have complote representation. General opinion rery favourable.'" -
