The Geological Discovert in Australia. — In a recent cable message the discovery of a deposit of fossil bones was announced. The find was made on the Myall Creek run, near Bingera, where the presence of the deposit had been revealed, at an average depth of fifteen feefc from the surface, by the wearing away of the creek banks. In^ all, the fosnils obtained, representing extinct animals (previously enumerated in our columns) weigh about four ; tons. Some of the larger bones are of immense size. There were no evidences of ! the presence of human arms or implements.
