,>- Mr A. G. Holland has jusb turned out a roraartably fine specimen, of the coach-builtler',s ait— a light drag, built for Mv TV Derrett, coach propristor, Calverden, who intends to run is on"hi^h day3 rmd holidr^ys" between Culverden «r:d Fry's Hotel, near the HanuiGi' Plahn liot springs. The vehicle will accommodate eight persons besides the driver. Ib is htrong-, roomy, and comfortable, with well-upholstered seats, and steps specially contrived to enable passengers, even if invalids, to ascend and descend without dJJKculty. Tt is also fitted with a powerful brake. The body is hung on three elliptic sptiugs ; the under gear is of the American style, and the axleß are American half -patent steel converted. The drag is fitted with pole and bars for four hor-ses. Beneath the driver's seat is a boot, Tvifch a,n ingenious contrivacce to enable him to put parcels, &c, therein without leaving his place. The woods used in the construction are hlciory, aoh, elm and kauri of the best quality. The under gear is paiuted claret colour, with one broad line and two fine lines of crimson lake. The body of the vehicle is black, with small gilt ornaments on the sides and door, and German silver-plated headings round the seats. The upholstering is in black buffalo leather. Telescope lamps are fitted on the drajr. The workmanship displayed throug-h---out is admirable, and reflects great, credit on the builder. The vehicle is to be cent to j Culverden in it few days.
