{ ♦ A MAN SERIOUSLY INJURED. [Pbb Pbkss Association.] WELLINGTON, August 6. A serious accident happened to a man named William Greenfield, a plasterer, on j Saturday evening. About 6.20 he was ' crossing the road when ho was knocked > down by a horse attached to a tram-car, , which had just turned the corner. The , injured man, who was in an insensible condition, was taken to the Hospital, where, ' after some time, he recovered conscious- ■ 1 neBS, but it is thought that his injuries are i of a rather serious nature. J
DUNE DIN, August 6. Kaikorai defeated the High School by four points to nil. Dunedin beat the Alhambra by eight points to nil. The Union defeated Montecilloby bjx points to nil. Two accidents occurred in the field.
