~~FURTHEK ADVANCE "IN~ WHEAT. [Special to Pbess Association.] LONDON, August 2. Wheat lias advanced sixpence. An Australian July shipment in an iron bottom has been sold at thirty-seven shillings. A terrific storm has been experienced over the greater part of England during the last twenty-four hours, and was most severely felt in London and the eastern Counties. It is feared that the crops will suffer serious damage. An Australian wheat cargo has been sold at 375. Two cargoes on the passage have been re-sold at 36s 6d. August 3. Australian wheat cargoes of May and June shipment are realising 36s 3d ; August and September lots, 36s 6d.
