« ! We again remind all who are interested in the Melbourne Centennial Exhibition, that the applications for entries close oa Saturday next, the 17th instant. Full information on all matters has now been issued to the branch Committees in New Zealand,andintendingexhibitors can therefore make themselves acquainted with the regulations pertaining to any department. The Secretary to the Wellington Commission points out that foreign manufacturers will be present at the Exhibition, eager to seize upon any market, and that unless Colonial manufacturers are represented, foreign consignments — which might otherwise be kept out for years — will probably come pouriuf » in. The matter is Tniqneationably on<?) to which New Zealand manufacturers Should give the most ca#jful attention.
