A meeting of this Committee was held on Monday last ; present — Messrs J. A. Blank Chairman), Watson, Sinclair, Spenier, and Millar. The matter of giving a treat to the children attending school was again brought up for discussion, and it was unanimously agreed that it should be given during next month, programme and arrangements to be completed at next meeting of Committee. The Chairman stated that Miss Susan Barrett (mistress) had sent in her resignation to the Committee, her duties to terminate on March 31. Kesolved — " That the same be accepted, the Committee regretting the loss of her services, which have been of marked value for upwards of seven years, and wishing hor success for the future." The Chairman w&3 authorised to inform the Board of the vacancy caused by Miss Barrett'- resignation, a i that the position may be _,lle_i without any unnecessary delay.
