Serious Accident.
[Per Press Association.] WANGANUI, March 10. A seaman named Charles Johnston was seriously injured on board the Huia to-day. The men were hauling up a tank of malt, when the chain gave way and the derrick came down, striking Johnston's head. He is not expected to recover.
