~» — . Annual Meeting. The annual meeting of the above toot place at the Pioneer Bicycle Club Rooms last night. There was a full attendance, the Pioneer, Christchurch, North Canterbury, and Invereargiil Cycling Clubs being represented. Mr P. Cooper was voted to the chair. The Hon Secretary (Mr A. Lowry) read tlie report and balance-sheet, showing a debit balance of £3 17s 6d, which was adopted. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year :— President, MrW. H. Wynn - Williams ; Vice - Presidents, Hon E. C. J. Stevens, Messrs C. H. Street, M. Sandstein, J. Fulton, G. Fenwick, and J. T. Martin; Hon Secretary, Mr C. A. Mytrie ; Hon Treasurer, Mr A. C. Andrews. It was resolved that the subscription per annum for unattached riders should be ss; Clubs, 2s each for first twenty-five members, Is 6d for second twenty-five, and ls< for- each additional member over that number. i The meeting then considered Mr E. E. Bargrove's claim for the following records:—so miles, 3hr 35min; 100 miles, llhr 9min; 24hr, 2103 miles, which were all allowed and confirmed. Mr Bargrove is a member of the Pioneer Bicycle Club. A letter was read from the Pioneer B.C. requesting thatpermission should be granted to the amateurs of New Zealand to compete with Frodwood, the English professional champion. This was granted on condition that the amateurs took trophies for their winnings, and that they raced only under the managemont of a recognised Club. After a warm discussion it was resolved to hold only four championships this year, and these were allotted as follows:— One Mile, Rangiora; Five Miles, Christchurch 8.C. ; Ten Miles, Invercargill ; Twenty-five Miles, Pioneer B.C. Permission was asked for conEent of the Alliance to exchange the items. This was granted, and the meeting adjourned.
