A Singular Case.

INVERCARGILL, Jult 30. A singular case came before the Resident Magistrate at the last sitting of the Court at Wyndham. Henry Golden, a settler, claimed JESO under the following circumstances : — The defendant, being then a teacher at the Pine Bush school, did on or about June 11, 1886, wrongfully expel plaintiff's daughter, Eliza Augusta Golden, from such school, whereby plaintiff was compelled to provide otherwise for the education of his said daughter and other children, to his great loss and inconvenience. The case was adjourned.
