LAND BOARD.
An ordinary meeting of the Canterbury Land Board was held yesterday. Messrs J. H. Baker (Chairman), M'Millan. O'Callaghan and Lee were present. Five and a half acres of rural land in Akaroa County were sold to Snow and Anson. Section 4 in Reserve 1815, Waitaki, under village homestead special settlement, was granted to Timothy Hcgan. Section 14 in Reserve 1769, Chertsey, under the same conditions was granted to David Reid; Section 15 to Richard Hudner. Some routine business waß disposed of, and the Board adjourned.
