The following telegram has been received from Inspector M'Govern re the Fanatics:— "Thoy are now quieting down md beginning to realise their position, md are coming to tha conclusion that th© prophetess is only a fraud. Friendly - ra wantin g to bail out the old ;hief Hoihia and his -wife. Mr Bishop has :onsented, providing the bail is subitantial. If bailed out, Hoihia's daughter lin Karo is to come here and take chares 7-ti "_. Two of the fan ati<sß ("ien) are till at the camp at Waihou, but haveeent a aessage to say if I g0 up they will come 71th me quietly. I don't intend to bother urfcherwith them. The wounded aredoine plendidly." 6
