— A. Alleged Wonderful Discovery. [Special to the "Star."! [AUCKLAND, Jr. ly 29. Mr J. W. Jackson, an old and respected Resident of Onehunga, is in receipt of a letter from his daughter in Sydney,- iu which it is stated that W. Jackson (supposed to be her brother) is the fortunate discoverer of a reef of apparently solid goldand that machinery to the extent o£ .£50,000 will be forwarded in all haste from Melbourne to Kimberley for working 'the same. Jackson expresses astonishment at not having seen any notification of tho find in the Australian cablegrams. ..
