Salvo was scratched on July 18 for the Melbourne Cup, and Rhetorician for the 2aulfi3ld Cup. The Argus reports anobher :un on Silver Prince for the Melbourne 'Jup, he being backed to win JB3OOO, down to 100 to 7. Fives to one have been taken ibout Niagara for the Derby, and an even CSOO offered that Niagara beats Abercorn.
