The match between the English oricketers and eleven of New South Wales was resumed and concluded to-day. The weather was fine, and the attendance of the public large. The visitors, with no wickets down and four runß up, continued their second innings, which closed for a total of 98. The following are the scores : — Barlow, caught 16 Shrewsbury, caught 4 Barnes, Lb.w " ... 7 Bead, bowled 24 Scotton, caught 21 Bates, bowled 0 Gunn, bowled ... 8 Briggs, bowled 0 Lohmann, stumped 1 Sherwin, bowled ... < ... 1 Flowers, not out 12 Exrtas 4 Total 98 The bowling of the home team was excellent, and dead on the" wicket. The New South Walea men, wanting 62 runs to win in the second innings, obtained the required number with the loss of only four wicketß, thua winning the match by *ix wicketa. The practice on Saturday was well attended, and good play was shown by many men.
