ST BARTHOLOMEW'S, KAIAPOI.
The following letter has been sent to tha President of the Ladies' Working Bee, congratulating them on the result of their labours in connection with the recent church bazaar : — " To the Members of the Working Bee. " Dear Ladies, — It affords me the greatest pleasure to be the medium through whom the Vestry of St Bartholomew's Church, Kaiapoi, wish to communicate to you their sincerest thanks for your unwearying exertions which brought the recent sala of work to such a successful issue, and so materially helped them to dischargo a great portion of their liabilities. At a meeting held on March 18, I was instructed to forward a copy of a resolution couched in the following terms : — ' That a cordial vote of thanks be accorded to the ladies of the Working Bee and the Juvenile Bees for their exertions during the past year, and that a letter be forwarded to them conveying the same.' The resolution was carried unanimously, and the whole of the Vestry expressed themselves extremely gratified with the result of your efforts — I am, &c, "F. Robins.. " Parishioners' Churchwarden."
