A meeting of the Committee in connection with the above was held at the Commercial Hotel last evening to wind up the affairs of the late Regatta. Mr Shepley C. Eesteven occupied the chair. The decision of the Judges was received in re -Cure B.C. protest against Lyttelton in the Junior Double Sculls, in which they disallowed the protest. It was decided that the Champion Pairs held over on account of the rough wattr j on the day of the regatta, should be pulled on the Sumner Estuary on Saturday next, ' at 4.30 p.m. ' The payment of prize money was authorised as follows: — Canterbury K.C., .£35 ; Lyttelton R.C., £2*. Union R.C.. £15; Cure 8.C., £U. After passing Bundi-y aocounts, amounting in the aggregate to JE3O 8s Bd, the meeting closed w/tth votes of thanks to the Hon Secre&ry* Treasurer, Judges, Starter *, umpire, and a special vote to Mr J. Stanley Monck for granting the use of his \ paddocks, and rendering other valuable I services towards the success of the regatta.
