Mails close for the following places as under (sutjoot to the necessary alterations :— Friday, Feb. 26. For Northern Ports, per Ohan, at 1.45 p.m. ; late fee letters, 2 p.m.; guard's van, 2.40 p.m. train. Jb'or Westport, per Kawatiri, at 8,20 p.m. ; Into fee letter*, at 3.30 p.m. ; guard's van, 4 p.m. train. Saturday, Feb. 27. For United Kingdom, (JontiDonta of Furope and America and West Indies (vis San Francisco), Sandwich Islands, Cape of Good Hope, Northern ports of New Zealand, kc., 4c.. per 8.8. Penguin, ns follows :— Ordinary letters, at 6SO p.m. ; late foe lettorn, at 7 p.m. ; books and newspapers, at 6.30 p.m. ; money orders, at 3 p.m. ; registered letters, at 5 p.m. ; guard's van, 8.15 p.m. train. This mail will be due in London on April 7.
