Mails close for the following places as under (subject to the necessary alterations :— Thursday, Feb. 25. For Northern Ports and Weatport, per .Koran ui, at 1.45 p.m. ; late fee letters, 2 p.m. ; guard's van, 2.40 p.m. train. For Otago, per Botorua, at 1.45 p.m. ; late fee letters, at 2 p.m. ; guard's van, 2.40 p.m. train. For Kaikonra, per Wakatu, at 3.20 p.m. ; late fee letters, 3.30 p.m. ; guard's van, 4 p.m. train. For Northern Ports, per Wairarapa, at 3.20 p.m. ; late fee letters, at 3.30 p.m. ; guard's van, 4 p.m. train. Friday, Feb. 26. For Northern Ports, per Ohau, at 1.46 p.m. ; late fee letters, 2 p.m.; guard's van, 2.40 p.m. train. Saturday, Feb. 27. For United Kingdom, Continents of Fnrope and America and West Indies (viA Baa Francisco), Sandwich Islands, Cape of Good Hope, Northern ports of New Zealand, &0., *c., per s.s. Penguin, as follows : — Ordinary letters, at 6.30 p.m. ; late fee letters, at 7 p.m. ; books and newspapers, at 6.30 p.m. : money orders, at 3 p.m. ; registered letters, at 5 p.m. ; guard's van. 8.15 p.m. train. This mail will be due in London on April 7.
