Licensing Committee Elections.
• CHEISTCHUECH NOETH-EAST. THIS DAY. There appeared to bo fully as much interest taken in the polling for a Licensing Committee for the district of Christchurch North-east, which took place to-day at the Orange Hall, as in the contests in the other districts, the supporters of the old Committee, and tho temperance party each using all the means in their power to return their candidates.
