Dunedin Training Notes.
THIS MORNING'S WORK. LATEST BETTING. [_Per Peess Association.] DUNEDIN, Feb. 22. At Forbury, this morning, Necklace, Derringer, and Turquoise were sont away together, and the first two covered the Cup distance in good style, Turquoise falling out before the finish. Tasman and Hermitage also had a good gallop, going two miles at top speed, the colt having all the best of it. Watercolour accompanied them part of the way. Nelson, Patrician, and Fusillade also did the Cup distance together. The two former kept together tho whole way, and finished fresh ; but Fusillade was beaten at the home turn. Rocket and Conundrum went two miles in good stylo. Sierra and Securus covered the Champagne distance at top speed, while Beresford was sent two miles steady. Garibaldi did some good jumping, while tho same owner's Epicure and Blsvk Boy did strong work. Artillery ar.d Tit Bits covered sixfurlongs fast. Gold Dust went two miles at a good pace. Temuka and Marquis did long, steady work. Quibble and Furtrader
were treated to two miles fast. Warbeck and Jupiter were given two mileß fast, the latter having all the best of it. Duchess of Albany did a mile at top Bpeed. Iris and Little Nelly were given two mileß fast. Mayboy and rrapper went two miles, taking the hurdles as they went in good style. Red Rose filly and Taiaroa went six furlongs at racing pace, while Captain Webster was given slow work on the tan gallop. Lady Emma did a rattling gallop over the Cup distance, with Rubezahl as companion part of the way. The mare is improving fast. St Ives went the Champagne distance ftt top speed. Paddy and Tristan covered two miles fast, and Foul Play a similar distance.
