BICYCLING.

A combined meeting of the members of the Pioneer and Christchurch Bicycle Clubs, was held at the Commercial Hotel last evening. There was a large attendance, Mr W. H. Langdown presiding. The principal business before the meeting was to arrange the date of the Annual Intel-provincial Meeting. After considerable discussion, it was resolved to hold it at Lancaster Park on Jan. 24. A programme comprising 13 events was arranged, and a Committee elected to carry out details. After arranging some minor business, the meeting adjourned. All present agreed to meet in -Cathedral Square at 5 p.m. on Wednesday next, and proceed in procession to the Pioneer's races at Lancaster Park. NEW BICYCLE CLUB. Steps are about to be taken by Rangiora wheelmen to form a North Canterbury Bicycle Club. Cyclists in the different centres of population in the North will be invited to co-operate, and it is expected that a strong Club will be established.
