ATTEMPTED MURDER.
CHARGES OF LARCENY. ' AUCKLAND, Oct. 13. : Jacob Hansen has been arrested on a ' charge of attempting to murder John Constantine, at Wainui. He is a German, and ; is believed to be a dangerous lunatic. ■ At the inquest on John S. Bousefield, who jumped from an hotel window at j Onehunga, and died subsequently, the jury ; returned a verdict, " Died from delirium '. tremens." Deceased was a young man, ; single, and respectably connected in England, to which he was proceeding after a tour of the Colonies. j A fashionably-dressed young man, named Arthur Collinge, recently from Sydney, . was avrested on four charges of larceny at the Hobson Hotel, where he had been a boarder. The property taken was worth about .£IOO. j
