[Eeuter's Telegrams.] LONDON, August 28. Consols remain at 100??. Bank reserve, .£13,400,000; proportion to liabilities, 45 per cent. The Bank rate of discount remains at 2 ; market rate, 1^ per cent. New Zealand securities remain at yesterday's quotation. Colonial Breadstuff's — Adelaide wheat, ex store, 38s; New Zealand, 34s to 38s ; Adelaide flour, ex store, 275. Australian Tallow — Average quality beef and mutton, 35s 6d. Wool— At to-day's auction, 10,400 bales were catalogued. A firm tone again prevailed. Good qualities of wool have advanced by a halfpenny. The quantity of wool withdrawn from sale since the opening of the series is 10,250 bales, out of a total of 161,200 bales catalogued. Hides — At to-day's auction a fair demand was experienced.
