• LTer Peess Association.] NAPIEK,- Jtjitb 9. The criminal sittings of the Supreme Court opened to-day, before Mr Justice Gillies. The calendar comprises two cases - of housebreaking, two forgeries, two larcenies, one of horse-stealing, and one of murder, the latter being the Ormondville tragedy. William Emeny, charged with forgery, pleaded guilty, and was sentenced to two years' imprisonment. Edward . Jones, forgery ; verdict, " Not guilty."
